So... I have had the privilege of moving super close to this place. Hubs and I came because I saw they have white menudo... I love white menudo so much!
The atmosphere is very "desert Oasis" like. It's right off University and about a few feet past Longmore. It feels very homey and welcoming. The women were all so nice.
I got the white menudo w/ jamaica to drink and hubs got 2 tacos. The chips and salsa were yummy. Great flavor.
The menudo is well balanced between tripe and hominy. The broth is clean and flavorful. Hubs loves his tacos.
This place is legit going to get so much money from me. And every purchase shall be worth it.
We are back today to get more food. I am trying the pozole!!! -

I always say..if the Chips and Salsa are good, the food will be good, If the chips and salsa suck, so will the food. This rings true once again..
The chips were chewy not crunchy, did not like the texture, the salsa was generic
watery tomato sauce, chopped onions and tomato style - flavor wise boring, not spicy enough.
I had a "homemade Chorizo" breakfast burrito. The "homemade Chorizo" looked and tasted like ground beef and taco seasoning mix. NOT how chorizo is made.
The tortilla wrapped in was either old, overcooked, or both. Was flaking and falling apart with black char. Very disappointed, had high hopes and when I walked in, the small place was packed with a family gathering so I was thinking the food was going to be amazing. Not the case... -

A nice little hidden gem for classic Mexican dishes. I loved their fresh fruit margaritas and the food is very yummy. Not bad for a place up the street from my house.
I would highly recommend this place ! -

I had the open face chilaca quesadilla. It was different from any quesadilla I've ever had before but I liked it. The tortilla had cheese and green chiles all over along with green sauce. Our waitress was very nice and did everything right (I forgot her name). I liked the vibe at the restaurant. There was a guy next to us playing a guitar. I wish their beans didn't have lard in them cause I'm a vegetarian. The quesadilla was pretty much the only thing I could eat on the whole menu. I had to take away a star for them not having much for me to choose from but I liked what they did have so I will be coming back in the future.

Eat all you can Menudo!! Establishment is old, kinda tight inside but the delicious food is what matters!
